2009年12月「GEISAI TAIWAN #1」,YIDACHEN (陳逸達) 以「I’m just a little person, living in my little room.」 YIDACHEN 以GEISAI - Finding New Stars計畫備受矚目的新人之一嶄露頭角,2010年6月「GEISAI成果展」將作為「This is the Original Raxxit (Series)」個人系列展的第一站正式出發。
In December of 2009, Mr. Yida Chen won the Seiichi Kamei Jury Award in 「GEISAI TAIWAN #1」with 「I am just a little person, living in my little room」, and he was invited to exhibit his work in「GEISAI #14」 Tokyo, in March 2010. Yida Chen is one of the budding new talents in GEISAI – Finding New Starts program. The GEISAI Achievement Exhibition, 「This is the Original Raxxit」, to be held in Taipei in June 2010, will be the debut of his personal series exhibition.
Rabbit and Panda, these two characters were accumulated from my draft and scribble for years. They represent the splitting of me, as well as the contradiction of everyone. I argue with myself for even the most trivial matter, I always ask myself, debate with myself, fight with myself, and then choose one side, because our life is to fight for the whole lifetime without right and wrong, the fighting itself is the answer, and only facing the contradiction and wonder with honesty is actually living. This is what I believe at least, and this is the theme that I would spend my whole life to present, the “RAXXIT”.
